Hi, I’m Rosemary! I’m a fourth-year student at the Schulich School of Business specializing in marketing and human resources. I’m interested in how businesses connect with people, and I’m discovering the kind of work I enjoy through school, customer service and volunteering.
Alongside my studies, I work as a teller at Scotiabank, helping clients with everyday banking and connecting them with advisors when they need additional support. Working in a busy branch has given me experience balancing customer needs with the accuracy and care the role requires.
Previously, I worked at Yorkdale Volkswagen, supporting reception, sales, service and administrative tasks. Seeing how others relied on accurate information helped me understand how my responsibilities connected to the wider team. Double-checking details is a habit I’ve carried into my current role.
Outside of work and school, I volunteer with Annex Cat Rescue, fostering cats and helping rescue strays in my community. Giving a shy cat time to feel comfortable is especially rewarding to me. It’s a reminder that trust develops through patience and consistent care.
I created this website to share my experiences and the lessons shaping my career interests. I’m exploring opportunities in marketing, HR and customer-focused work where I can contribute my perspective, take on new responsibilities and learn from others.
